We present a critique of the Halsey isotherm model (also known as Frenkel–Halsey–Hill), which is used by many researchers to interpret water contaminant adsorption data. first convert original for gas-phase form appropriate liquid-phase adsorption. call this version “genuine isotherm.” then show that currently in research bears only partial resemblance genuine isotherm.
